What is EWG Rating Scale?

The Skin Deep ingredient hazard score, from 1 to 10, reflects known and suspected hazards linked to the ingredients.

How does it work?

The scale is split into three segments 

  •  Low Hazard: 1 to 2
  •  Moderate Hazard: 3 to 6
  •  High Hazard: 7 to 10
